The Asterian Language is a constructed language spoken in North America. It uses its own version of the Cyrillic alphabet, known as the Asterian Cyrillic Alphabet. It also uses a romanized form. Its alphabet, the Asterian Alphabet, has a total of thirty-three letters - nine vowels and twenty-four consonants. It shares both similarities and differences to other Cyrillic languages and alphabets.
The Asterian Cyrillic Alphabet has a total of thirty-three letters - nine vowels and twenty-four consonants. Unfortunately, some of the letters of Asterian Cyrillic Alphabet do not have unicodes yet, and therefore cannot yet be typed correctly through coding or other digital text. However, there are other letters that look similar which already have unicodes, which could work as alternatives for the time being; however, it is important to keep in mind that these are NOT the same as the actual distinct letters in the Asterian Cyrillic Alphabet.
The Asterian language is a constructed language. It is associated with the micronation known as the Kingdom of Asteria (formerly Empire of Asteria). It aims to function like a semi-naturalistic language and plans to grow naturally as generations of users pick up the language. It is planned to function as one of three official languages of the micronation (the others being French and English), and also serve as the national language of the micronation as well.
However, the language is not planned to solely be spoken in the micronation, and will likely aim to be spoken by many people from different areas and cultures of the world.
